Cowgirl Attic was born out of my love of architectural elements. Being in the antiques business for many years buying and selling all kinds of things, old house parts and pieces were always my favorites. I started bugging all the demo contractors, one thing led to another, and before I knew it I was up on a boom taking things off of old houses. A few things later and what do you know, a large warehouse full of treasures, located in beautiful Lexington, Kentucky. It is so important to try and use things we have so we don’t fill our landfills. We all need to do our part to recycle. Everyone always wants to know how I came up with the name of my business. It came to me in a dream. I collect vintage cowgirl things and have always considered myself a Cowgirl. I started riding at 5 and I am still kicking and screaming and taking houses apart.
